TRIVIA

- She grew up in the Goto Islands and Nakadori Island (Shinkamigoto Town) from 3 to 7 years old.

- She was unable to participate in the final auditions for Keyakizaka46. Her mother came to Tokyo and took her back to Nagasaki on the eve of the final audition. She cried so much and for so long that her parents eventually relented. Her father talked to the Keyakizaka46 staff, which made an exception and let Neru enter the group.

- She is said to have a tanuki-like face.

- She is the first member of Keyakizaka to be appointed tourism ambassador for their hometown.

- She became a fan of AKB48 in the upper grades of elementary school and started watching AKB48 videos at the computer club.

- When she was working part-time as a shrine maiden on New Year's Day in her first year of high school, she burned her outfit on the stove and was deducted from her salary.
